Our sincere thank you to:
(PRODUCTION COMPANY) Kevin Henry – Mileposts, partnered with the extraordinarily talented, Terry Johnson. Mileposts team is patient, creative, and simply excellent. Kevin Henry, recipient of several Emmy’s, has been involved in multi-media for many years, and Kevin’s company, Mileposts, has great assets who will take your idea/s, work with you to make them better, then deliver a quality product that you will be proud of, and more importantly, it will be effective in promoting/marketing your product, service, or message. http://www.milepostdocs.com/
(MICHAEL) Michael Kelley (Veteran ARMY) – Past Commander American Legion Post 594 Middletown PA, currently active on the American Legion Post 594 Board and on a District Level. Michael is a member of the veteran supporting “DeFrancesco family”, (Most notable is Past American Legion National Commander, Dominic DeFrancesco). Keep an eye on Michael, he’s destined for big things veteran related.
(TUCKER) Philip J. Fonner IV, (Non-Veteran) – At the last minute Philip filled in when our other veteran actors work schedule didn’t allow their participation. Philip’s natural contemplative/melancholy resting face made him a natural. Oh, he’s the son of Veterans Cause’s founder, he had no choice, but did so willingly & proudly.
(INTERVIEWER) Michael Parks – Iheart Media “Taking Care of Business with Michael Parks”. Michael has graciously given his time and guidance over the years to help Veterans Cause reach our media, marketing, & outreach goals. Michael has been a local media personality for years and an all-around great guy.
(RADIO STUDIO) Harrisburg, PA – Iheart Media / WHP 580AM – Corporate, management, and staff is great to work with and truly care about veterans and their families in the community. As well, thank you to RJ Harris, big time WHP 580AM Morning Show and to Sylvia Maus, “Insight with Sylvia Maus” who was the first to reach out to Veterans Cause and gave us the kick start we needed.
(Veterans Cause VOLUNTEERS & those who have been of service) – Mr. Kerry Miller-Director of Community Outreach, Linda Jo Faust-Secretary, Jim Laufenberg-Past Director, Suzanne & Philip Fonner Jr, Anita-Louise Wilmath, Bill Wilmath, & Colin, Jordan, & KelliRae Fonner, William “Terry” Barkley, Loette Chambers, Garrett Faust, Elizabeth A. Parrish, Summer Heikes, Michael Davies, Morganna VonHaeger, Pennsylvania American Legion Riders 998, and many more.
Thank you to our anonymous veterans who attend meetings, events, and guide us on our task.
(CALL TO ACTION) – GET INVOLVED!
Why are we doing this? We can’t sit by and hear of another veteran needlessly take their life, and not do what we believe will be of some assistance for them.
Mother’s, father’s, family, & friends, forward contact information of your veteran in need and we will send one of our veteran volunteers to visit them to make them aware what services are available. All services are free and anonymous. Only in Harrisburg, PA at this time.
(DONATE) – www.VeteransCause.com – WE NEED MONEY to pay for confidential/anonymous private counseling, alternative therapies, outreach, & awareness.
Veterans Cause – 501(c)3 #47-1919036
(SOCIAL MEDIA) – FaceBook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, & more – Please share, like, & comment with your contacts.
(AFFILIATE) – If your community would like to affiliate with Veterans Cause, contact us.
(SUPPORTERS) – Huge thanks to our financial supporters who have helped us get off the ground and make a difference in the lives of our local veterans.
(GROUP PHOTO in VIDEO) – The group photo in the video, beside “Tucker”, is the USMC 3rd Platoon Bravo CO from 2013. We borrowed this photo because it was representative of so many who have served.
Veterans Cause celebrates another anniversary on Veterans Day, 11 November.
Personal note from Scott J. Fonner: I am not a veteran, and you don’t have to be either to get involved in assisting your local veterans whether you’re an affiliate of Veterans Cause or working within your community to better the lives of your veterans and their families. Veterans Cause is not a counseling service. We refer/forward in-need veterans to certified professionals. We believe the phrase, “You are not alone” is an important element to our outreach.
You, your community, is the “front line” in reaching out to, and assisting your local veterans.
Scott J. Fonner
